Unable to configure Graphing

Featured Replies

I have been unable to complete the section of the Tutorial "Configuring Graphing for the Windows Intrusion Detection Systems (WinIDS) Security Console"  When typing the commands "pear install Image...."  they are all failing and returning the response "No valid packages found."  I did find that with Color-alpha on the pear.php.net site it said to use Color2-alpha instead, and that successfully installed, but I have been unable to figure out how to get Canvas, Graph, or Log to install.  I haven't gone any further in the installation than this because I want to get these properly installed before going forward.  Any assistance would be appreciated.

Thanks

Could be a few things:

1) No inteernet access

2) Trying to connect out through a proxy

3) the repository is down for some unknown reason

Thanks for the response.  I found the solution posted in the Windows XP thread.  I had to download all of the packages manually and install them locally from the d:winidstemp directory.

Yes, that could happen depending on copnnectivity. Also, manually delete all the files in all the temp folders.
